The Culture Trip Culture Writer/Editor October 2012 – April 2014
Starting out as a casual contributor for theculturetrip.com, a website that garnered 250,000-300,000 unique visitors per month, I progressed to a position where I wrote arts and culture articles on a regular basis. Tasked with researching specific events, authors, artists and musicians and submitting profiles about them in order to inform people about their significance and their works, the position showed that I had the ability to write creatively as well as in a far more reserved manner as the style and tone of all articles had to be scholarly and critical whilst avoiding being too dry and theoretical.
